Sandy Shower Perches
These Sandy Shower Perches are functional and attractive. The perch
pushes against the wall when not in use and the sandy perch itself
provides great traction for a flapping bird without being abrasive. Use
soap and a soft brush to clean it or remove the suction cups and throw
it in the dishwasher.
Instructions for attachment:
1. Make sure that the shower wall is clean with no residue of any
kind present.
2. The suction cups should be clean also.
3. Dampen the suction cups and place the perch on a dry shower wall or
door. Make sure that when placing it on a tile wall that the suction
cups are not placed over the grout, but securely on the tile.
4. Push out any air bubbles that may exist in the suction cups for a
secure fit.
5. The water you use to dampen the suction cups may wet the wall and
cause the shower perch to slide a bit when weight is placed on it.
Therefore, let the perch sit for a little while before you place your
bird on it.
6. Your sandy perch is not meant to be a permanent fixture in your shower
and should be removed regularly for cleaning of the suction cups and the
wall.
7. Before each use, please be sure to check that your Sandy Shower Perch
is secure before you place your bird on it. Choose the
SMALL for Cockatiels/Conures, etc., the MEDIUM for
Conures/Greys/Amazons, etc. and the LARGE for Moluccans and large Macaws
