Sandy Perches
All our birds have
access to a Sandy Perch in their cage to help with nail (and beak)
grooming. They can be thrown into the dishwasher or cleaned with a
10% bleach solution and a brush, rinsing well. Drying them in the
sun will not fade the
coloration of the perches.
Bird Foot Health Tip:
Birds should have access to perches of different diameters and textures to
help insure good foot health. Perches should also be kept clean and
disinfected frequently. Inspect your bird's feet regularly and
follow up with your vet when you notice any changes.

This 5" mini perch is recommended for
finches and canaries. The shorter length allows more room in the cage for toy
hanging. Approximately diameter is a 1/2".

mini perch. It provides a little extra wandering room and is perfect for

Sandy Perch Twister
This is a two for one deal... get a great grooming perch
for your parrots nails AND get a fun acrylic toy as welll. Each perch has
a acrylic rectangle that spins around. There are also movable daisy shapes
for added interaction and some fun rattling noise. Sizing is as follows:

Acrylic Parrot Sandy Perch
This is a really nice offering from the Sandy Perch people. Their
Acrylic Parrot Sandy Perch eliminates the use of metal washers and instead
attaches to the cage with a large acrylic parrot (8" x 4" x
3/16"), a white plastic washer
and a threaded knob. There is also a large acrylic circle at the end
of the perch with a hole for hanging a toy. Each perch also comes
with a round plastic ring that moves up and down the perch length.
